After a long drive, 343 miles, it is so nice to end up at a campground that is easy to park in and is well maintained. Whittington Woods Campground in the toe of Illinois fit this bill.
Hand carved eagles greeted us as we entered the campground.
They even had a chicken coop with about 50 chickens.
Ahhhh...
